Zoom has unveiled ZoomMate, a new AI teammate for its workplace, designed to move work from conversation to completion. It is an AI workplace that combines agentic search, AI-generated presentations, and deliverables. The advancement also enables automated execution across connected business tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Slack, and ServiceNow.
According to the announcement made on June 1, 2026, ZoomMate is set to address the gap between what people decide in meetings and what actually gets done afterward. It is now available for free usage and purchase with AI Credits. However, availability can vary by customer type, region, and related verticals.
How Does ZoomMate Turn Conversation into Completion?
The new AI workplace is built directly into Zoom Workplace, rather than existing as a separate add-on. The framework is built around three main aspects: find, take action, and create. It understands context from meetings, chats, notes, and linked workplace systems, then helps users find information, take action, and create outputs without forcing them to start from scratch every time.
Here are the three elements used to support Find, Take Action, and Create:
- Search:Â ZoomMate incorporates agentic search and deep research to gather information and context that users require across frameworks they operate in, including Zoom and connected third-party applications.
- Orchestrate:Â It then executes the workflows and tasks from a conversation. The tasks can include updating records, follow-ups, assigning tasks, and even getting approvals. The AI workplace does it all with human oversight in the loop.
- Complete:Â Lastly, it generates deliverables according to the conversation and its context. The deliverables can be in briefs, slides, sheets, and even project plans.

As Zoom asserts, ZoomMate and the AI Productivity Suite are available for purchase, with AI Credits included for metered AI actions. The availability may vary by customer type, region, and industry vertical at launch. Nevertheless, a broader rollout is expected throughout the year.
ZoomMate is listed with 2,200 AI credits per user per month, while the Basic tier includes limited ZoomMate features and a smaller set of AI functions.
