Welcome, Jeff, we’re beyond excited to have you here!
1. Jeff, you’ve built an impressive career focusing on sales and marketing strategies across healthcare, IT, and pharmaceuticals. As a true sales geek, can you share your standout journey and what pushed you to pursue leadership in the healthcare sector?
Jeff. My journey has been defined by two consistent themes: building high-performing teams and improving outcomes for the people we serve. Early in my career, I realized I had a passion for taking complex challenges and turning them into clear, repeatable processes that drive growth. I’ve built teams across several healthcare sectors—including healthcare IT, payer markets, and medical devices. Through that work, I’ve seen firsthand how a strong sales organization can elevate patient care, improve outcomes, and strengthen operational performance.
What ultimately pushed me toward leadership in healthcare was the ability to pair execution with purpose. In this industry, a great sales and marketing strategy doesn’t just move revenue—it improves quality of life. That combination of mission and measurable impact has kept me deeply committed to healthcare leadership.
2. You’ve a track record of repeatedly leading and restructuring high-performing sales teams. What do you believe are the key factors to building a winning sales culture?
Jeff. A winning sales culture is intentional—it doesn’t happen by accident. For me, there are three essential components:
Build a world-class culture
A great culture is inclusive, transparent, and grounded in trust. People want to work in an environment where their voice matters and expectations are clear. When you combine respect with accountability, you create a team that performs at its best. Culture is not a slogan—it’s a daily discipline.
Hire great people
Hire and develop true enterprise sales professionals—people with high IQ and EQ, intellectual curiosity, humility paired with confidence, and unwavering character. I look for individuals who can earn “trusted advisor” status with clients, understand the market deeply, and take personal responsibility for their craft. Skills can be trained; character and drive cannot.
Provide process, clarity & a repeatable path to success
A high-performing team needs structure: clear talk tracks, messaging, pitch decks, KPIs, discovery frameworks, and a repeatable execution model. When people have a clear process, know what success looks like, and have the tools to achieve it, performance follows.
3. LogicMark has been protecting people and caregivers since 2007. How has the company’s mission been going strong over the years? What’s your take on this?
Jeff. LogicMark’s mission has always been to help people live safely, independently, and with confidence. Since 2007, we’ve stayed true to our mission by adapting to emerging care challenges and leveraging breakthroughs in AI and IoT. Over the last decade alone, we have evolved from a hardware-focused company into a fully connected, AI-driven safety platform serving both seniors and their caregivers.
Today, LogicMark doesn’t just respond to emergencies; we anticipate them. Our mindset of proactive care has driven the development of a suite of devices and apps that protect and empower. For instance, our Freedom Alert Max and Mini combine fall detection, geofencing, GPS tracking, and 24/7 monitoring to keep older adults safe while giving caregivers the tools to respond quickly. And, with the Aster App and Emergency Button, we’ve expanded personal safety beyond seniors, enabling anyone, anywhere to connect instantly with trusted contacts in real time.
By integrating AI and digital twin technology, our systems learn daily patterns, predict potential risks, and enable proactive interventions, helping prevent incidents before they happen. For me, the mission has remained constant: to build human-centered, connected safety solutions that deliver freedom, peace of mind, and confidence for the people and caregivers we serve by evolving with them.
4. Senior living facilities mainly rely on quick emergency responses. How do LogicMark’s devices help caregivers improve response times?
Jeff. Our devices are designed for immediate action. Products like the Freedom Alert Max and Guardian Alert 911 Plus detect emergencies such as falls, instantly notify caregivers or emergency services, and provide video validation when needed. Geofencing and GPS features allow caregivers to monitor patients’ locations in real time, helping them respond faster and more effectively while still respecting residents’ independence.
Beyond real-time alerts, LogicMark’s predictive fall detection takes safety a step further. Using AI and digital twin technology, our system monitors users’ daily movement patterns and identifies subtle changes that may indicate increased risk of a fall. This allows caregivers to intervene proactively, adjusting routines, providing additional support, or checking in—before an incident occurs. By combining real-time alerts with predictive insights, caregivers can prevent emergencies whenever possible and respond faster when they do happen, ultimately improving outcomes for residents and easing caregiver stress.
5. Jeff, LogicMark’s Patented Fall Detection technology stands out in the market. Can you share what makes it unique compared to the cutthroat competitors?
Jeff. Our patented fall detection doesn’t just respond after a fall; it actively learns movement patterns to reduce false positives and anticipate potential risks. Unlike traditional systems that rely on simple accelerometers, LogicMark’s technology integrates AI and predictive analytics to detect irregular behavior and identify when a fall is likely. This proactive approach gives caregivers a head start in prevention, making life safer for older adults and providing peace of mind for families.
6. You’ve successfully scaled territories and driven revenue growth across several organizations. What’s your approach to identifying untapped market potential? Could you highlight a few key points on this?
Jeff. My approach is grounded in three core steps:
Market intelligence
Understand the competitive landscape, regulatory dynamics, and where unmet needs intersect with emerging trends.
Data-driven segmentation
Analyze where customers are buying, where they’re underserved, and where adjacencies exist—whether that’s new verticals, new use cases, or new geographic territories.
Execution discipline
Align the right people, messaging, incentives, and disciplined operating cadence to win in those whitespace areas.
Ultimately, the key is listening to customers. They will always tell you where your next growth opportunity is—if you ask the right questions.
7. In your opinion, how does the Connected Care app facilitate connections for patients, caregivers, and emergency services? What has the response to it been so far?
Jeff. The Care Village app transforms devices into a connected ecosystem. It lets caregivers, family members, and emergency services coordinate in real time—monitoring device status, managing schedules, receiving alerts, and even viewing video-validated incidents. Users can invite trusted contacts to “walk with them” virtually, creating a safety network that extends beyond traditional emergency responses. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with caregivers noting how it streamlines communication, reduces stress, and enhances overall safety for their loved ones.
8. What does LogicMark do to build trust and reliability for sensitive audiences like healthcare, senior living, and government organizations?
Jeff. Trust is earned through transparency, reliability, and proven outcomes. When designing technology for older adults, these factors become even more important, and you also need to take into account designing tech that’s even easier to use and more intuitive. Our devices are rigorously tested, continuously updated, and designed with privacy and usability at the forefront. Additionally, our solutions are sold through the U.S. Veterans Health Administration, dealers, distributors, and direct channels, and we hold a GSA contract enabling federal, state, and local procurement. By combining regulatory compliance, advanced technology, and a deep understanding of the needs of seniors and caregivers, we create solutions that organizations and the people they serve can rely on every day.
9. Lastly, could you share insights on what the next stage of your leadership journey looks like and what impact you aim to create on health tech?
Jeff. The next stage of my leadership journey is focused on scaling what I call connected, predictive, and proactive care. At LogicMark, we are building technology that not only responds to emergencies but anticipates them – and we want to amplify that impact.
To advance the personal safety landscape for everyone, not just seniors, we are leading the way in AI and digital twin technology so our systems learn daily patterns, identify anomalies, and predict potential risks—enabling proactive interventions that prevent incidents before they happen.
Ultimately, our commitment is to build LogicMark into the most trusted ecosystem for personal safety by delivering solutions that reduce emergencies, lower caregiver burden, and empower people to live with greater confidence, independence, and peace of mind.
